COMMUNITY COMES INTO FOCUS AT FLYING SQUIRRELS GAMES
The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, complete the unveiling of their promotional schedule for the inaugural 2010 season with a year-long community campaign encompassing several games during the 2010 season. Highlighting that campaign is the Flying Squirrels Hometown Heroes Series, which invites fans to nominate community heroes (ex. Firefighters, Policeman, Teachers, Coaches, etc…) that have made a positive impact in their lives. Those hometown heroes will then be invited to The Diamond where they will be celebrated on four separate Hometown Heroes Nights at the ballpark (July 19th, July 27th, August 10th, August 25th).

The team will hold Tributes to the Marshmallow (June 1st), Hushpuppies/Fryers (June 15th) and of course the Nut (May 18th). A salute to everything awful will take place on Awful Night (July 26th), while Tattoo Night (May 28th) will celebrate ink of all kinds.

FLYING SQUIRRELS TO BRING NATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT ACTS TO RICHMONDThe Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, continue unveiling their inaugural 2010 season promotional schedule by revealing the lineup of national traveling entertainment acts scheduled to appear at The Diamond throughout the course of the season. Performances will be wide-ranging, including the wildly popular Zooperstars making two appearances (May 14th, July 2nd) at The Diamond, the Phillie Phanatic (May 29th) making the journey south to Richmond and live Alligator Wrestling at the ballpark (June 18th).

FLYING SQUIRRELS WILL “GIVE” BACK TO FANS IN 2010The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, continue the unveiling of their inaugural 2010 promotional schedule with the introduction of 28 fan giveaway items spread throughout the home schedule. The slate of giveaways will include traditional ballpark favorites such as a Wooden Bat Giveaway (Sunday, August 1st), and be joined by useable items like a Metal Lunchbox Giveaway (Sunday, August 15th).

Fireworks Extravaganzas Highlight Inaugural Promotional Schedule
FLYING SQUIRRELS TO LIGHT UP THE NIGHT IN 2010…13 TIMESThe Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, will unveil their jam-packed promotional schedule for the 2010 season over the next five days, beginning with the introduction of an expansive fireworks series to celebrate their inaugural season in Richmond. The Flying Squirrels 2010 fireworks series will feature 13 fireworks extravaganzas, including the Flying Squirrels home opener at the Diamond on April 15th, and an Independence Day Celebration on July 4th. The rest of the team’s promotional calendar will be released throughout the week in the following categories: Giveaway Items, National Entertainment Acts, Theme Nights and Community Involvement Nights.
